Nothing about this glorious wedding was traditional! To begin with, my very first meeting with this lovely duo was on the wedding day!! You see, Steve is Aussie, Tiina is Finnish and they live in Hong Kong!! To say I was excited to finally meet them in person after all our Skype calls and emails was an understatement! There were lots of hugs that morning! Steve and Tiina had a very emotional first glimpse before the wedding with their beautiful baby girl as flower girl.Â
We then moved on to do the bridal portraits BEFORE the wedding. With so many glorious locations around Manly, we were spoilt for choice! We started photographing at North Harbour Reserve in the heart of Balgowlah and then moved on to Manly Pavilion which looked more like we had been transported to some glorious mediterranean island rather than being in the middle of Sydney. Thankfully the rain held off and we were blessed with a perfect soft cloudy day.Â
We then proceeded to Manly Skiff Club for the wedding ceremony and reception. They had guests from all corners of the globe join them to witness their gorgeous ceremony and enjoy an awe inspiring sunset as their backdrop. Once they had said I DO and sealed the deal with a kiss, they were able to mingle with guests and head straight into their reception which was filled with tantalising food, the most intricately detailed wedding cake I have every seen, and dancing the evening away to some pretty incredible Finnish music!
